Bro, you cannot stay at same hg in a 5 minutes period, there is bound to be some loss in pressure within 5 minutes. Even @DLD won't argue this fact. This is why you should pump to same pressure after few minutes. Always look at the gauge. Within 5 minutes, you will notice a difference in the hg.

From my experience, the vacuum pressure on the pump will not stay at same hg in a 5 minutes period and this has nothing to do with leakage.
